SCOPE AND TOPICS

NOLAMP 16 will cover the recent laser research and development work performed by industries, institutes and universities. The conference will consist of both scientific and industrial contributions in the fields of:

  • Laser cutting and drilling,
  • Laser welding, brazing, and soldering,
  • Laser surface treatment, marking, and forming,
  • Additive manufacturing and 3D printing,
  • Laser assisted (hybrid) processing,
  • Lasers and laser systems, including optics and beam delivery systems,
  • Micro-joining and material removal,
  • Precision processing and ultrashort pulse laser processing,
  • Laser safety and environmental aspects of laser processing,
  • Monitoring, process sensing, and control of laser processing,
  • Fundamental researches on laser materials processing,
  • Industrial applications and experience,
  • Quality control and standardization works in laser material processing.
     

INDUSTRIAL SESSIONS 

We plan special sessions for industrial presentations about industrial R&D and application development. The documentation for these presentations is a short industrial paper (4-6 pages) or may just consist of a Power Point file. But we would of course also greatly appreciate scientific papers from industry to be presented in the scientific sessions.
